Would you like to enhance your leadership skills through PE and School Sports?
Countesthorpe Academy have been given the exciting opportunity to provide our Year 7 students with a youth ambassadors training programme which aims to build the leadership skills of young people and as a result they are empowered to take on the following roles:
- Be the youth voice for PE and school sport in their school and community
- Promote the positive values of sport
- Be a role model and champion for PE and school sport
- Increase participation opportunities and healthy lifestyles for everyone
Students will access a variety of workshops that will be delivered both virtually and as an extra-curricular (after school) opportunity when we return to school. By taking part, students will be able to log their leadership hours to achieve a bronze (10 hours), Silver (20 hours) or Gold (30 hour) award.
