Our students are all part of one school community, and as such, help each other. We were really pleased to see how a group of Turing students wanted to support a family in our local community who lost everything in a house fire.
The students in Year 8 wanted to raise money to help the family, and they decided the best way to do this was through a lunchtime bake sale!
Evie and Neve baked cakes at home and brought them in for staff and students to purchase at break and lunchtime today, with other Year 8 students helping to sell them. The bake sale was a massive success and has raised £54.
Well done girls, you really have a “Mind to be Kind”.
