At Countesthorpe Leysland Community College our students have a ‘Mind to be Kind’. From little gestures such as holding the door for a fellow student, to saying please and thank you, through to our massive Charity Week, our students are always trying to help others.
This year our Student Leadership Team have decided to raise money for LOROS through a ‘Christmas Jumper Day'. Many of our students have come into contact with LOROS, and felt that this was a charity that deserved recognition and funding for the excellent work they do.
All students and staff are invited to wear a Christmas jumper on Friday 14th December and are asked to donate £1, which will be collected on the day.
School uniform must be worn on the day, including lanyard and ID badge. The Christmas Jumper will replace the regular school jumper for those taking part.
We can’t wait to see all the festive designs and patterns, and hope to raise lots of money for this worthwhile cause.
