Thursday 20th April saw our Year 7 girls football team travel to Beaumont Leys School to compete in the Year 7 Girls Quarter Final!
The game started off slow, however we put the pressure on from the whistle with Maisie, our goalkeeper, not even touching the ball. Lola was able to score the only goal of the first half before the half time whistle, which allowed us to go into the second half with the advantage!
With a few changes and a team talk, the girls played some excellent football in the second half, which resulted in them scoring another 4 goals from Lillie (3) and Shay (1) – well done!🏆
The girls are now looking forward to playing against Gartree in the semi-final, which is taking place at the beginning of May.
