On the 8th of June, our Year 10 students participated in mock interviews with employers from a range of industries.
For many of our students, this was their first experience of an interview and the careers department are extremely proud of how they all rose to the challenge.
All students were well prepared, organized and conducted themselves in a professional manner throughout the day!
Each student will receive personalised feedback from their interview with guidance on how to be successful in future interviews.
Throughout the day, we asked each employer to identify the students that they felt had made an exceptional impression in their interview.
Overall, they gave a glowing report and commented on how difficult they found it to select their standout interviewees - they wanted to give out more certificates! ⭐
Student feedback was equally as positive. The prospect of an interview can be daunting, but these students have proven that they have the resilience to rise to the challenge and be successful.
The careers department recognise the importance of gaining these positive experiences whilst in school. Soon, these students will be completing interviews in ‘the real world’ and we are certain that their experience today will support their future success.
