Textiles RSPCA Trip

🐾 Our amazing year 8 textiles students have recently been putting their creativity and compassion into action by designing and crafting cozy blankets for our furry friends at the RSPCA.

😺 On Thursday, April 18th, we embarked on a heartwarming trip to the RSPCA center, Leicester, where the students had the opportunity not only to donate their beautiful blankets, but were also able to witness firsthand the incredible work done by the organization in rescuing and rehoming cats and dogs in need.

🎤 Natalie, a dedicated member of the RSPCA team, shared valuable insights into the vital role they play in providing care and love to animals who have faced neglect or mistreatment.

🐱🐶 The highlight of the visit was undoubtedly the tour of the cat and dog kennels, where our students got to interact with the furry residents, spreading joy with toys and cuddles.

😻 And who could forget the delightful 'Nelly,' who stole everyone's hearts with her affectionate nature! It was a joy to see her basking in the attention and affection showered upon her by our students.

The RSPCA is always eager to find loving homes for their adorable inhabitants, and as always, our students are delighted to be supporting such an amazing charity!🐾
