The Stephen Lawrence Ambassadors are delivering assemblies this week to mark the 31st anniversary of Stephen Lawrence’s racist murder and our academy’s ongoing support of the Lawrence family.
The assemblies look at Stephen’s talents and aspirations, the tragic events of his murder, and the legal changes that came about as a result of the MacPherson Report into institutional racism in the Metropolitan Police.
The student leaders also look at everyday racism and explain how unconscious bias works.
