Countesthorpe Academy HiVE Sixth Form students were proud to welcome Peter Homa to present to them today as part of the Speakers for Schools Programme.
Peter Homa CBE DBA is the Director General of the Defence Medical Services, has been Chief Executive of three University Hospitals and two national organisations, including the Commission for Health improvement, and came to speak to our students about Leadership and Management, specifically within the healthcare sector and the Ministry of Defence.
Our students were in awe of the level of expertise Peter Homa has, and found his presentation insightful, helpful and inspirational. His specific experiences that he shared with us were especially useful to our HiVE Sixth Form students who are seeking a career within the civil service.
All of our students and staff who took part would like to say a massive thanks for Peter and also to the Speakers for Schools Programme for arranging such a fantastic and interesting speaker.
