A 2-1 defeat at Wigston Academy ended the Year 7 Boys cup run for this season.
A brilliant team goal saw the boys take the lead early in the first half but despite playing some excellent football, they were unable to add a second whilst in control of the game.
This encouraged Wigston, who finished the first half strongly scoring two goals in quick succession.
A change in formation and the introduction of a couple of substitutions at half time helped the boys to put in a fantastic second half performance. However, the woodwork and a number of brilliant saves from the Wigston goalkeeper prevented a comeback from materialising.
We're really proud of the Year 7 boys' achievements and can't wait to see how they do in the future.
