I hope you have all had a good summer break and enjoyed the holidays. We are very much looking forward to welcoming everyone back to the new academic year. Please find below some reminders and useful information for the start of the term.
All students return to college on Tuesday 28thAugust. Students should arrive in college no later than 08.25 and enter via the main gate. Upon arrival at college, students should make their way to their tutor rooms where they will spend the first part of the day.
Please find below a reminder of tutor groups, Houses and locations. The letters in brackets next to some of the tutor groups indicate previous tutors for reference purposes.

I would also urge you to read the Parent Handbook and the letter that was sent out at the end of the summer term to ensure you are familiar with our policies and expectations.
Over the summer break, work has been carried out to completely refurbish the PE Changing Rooms in the Countesthorpe building. This has been a major project and whilst we hoped it would have been completed for the start of the term, unfortunately, this will not be the case. This means that alternative temporary changing arrangements will be put in place and all students will be informed of this when they return.
We want parents of all our students at CLCC to be able to work with us so that together we can ensure the very best for your child. With this in mind we would like to invite all parents of students in Years 7,10,11, 12 and 13 to join us for a session on how you can help your child to succeed in the coming year. I would strongly encourage you to attend this so we can share ways that you really can make a difference at home.

- Year 7 - Success in Secondary School - 3rd September 6pm for parents of students in Brunel, Hawkins and Turing Houses
- Year 7 - Success in Secondary School - 3rd September 6.45pm for parents of students in Lawrence, Spencer and Wilberforce Houses
- Year 11 – Power to Perform 4th September 6pm
- Year 10 – Power to Perform 4th September 7pm
- Year 12 – Power to Perform 5th September 6pm
- Year 13 – Power to Perform 5th September 6:45pm
Year 7 photographs will take place on Friday 31stAugust 2018.
