Congratulations to our Year 11 GCSE students who have achieved an outstanding set of results today. This follows last week’s excellent A-Level results where we achieved a record number of A*s and 90% of students secured their first choice university.
This year saw the new 9-1 grades introduced in most subjects. Students have faced new and challenging courses which has required high levels of commitment and dedication from our students as they have adapted to different ways of learning. We are proud of the achievements of all our students and many of our students achieved outstanding results. Special mention must go to one of our students who performed exceptionally and achieved nine grades at grade 9 and one A*. She was one of only 700 students nationally to achieve a clean sweep of top grades which is an phenomenal achievement. She will be returning along with many others to our Sixth Form to start Year 12 and her A Level studies on Tuesday.
Our top five achievers secured 28 top grades amongst them whilst one fifth of Year 11 students achieved at least one of the highest possible grades (9 or A*). Congratulations to you all!
