On Thursday 21st June four Year 8 pupils from CLCC went to compete in the national street golf final at 3 Hammers Golf Complex in Wolverhampton.
After winning the regional round at Beedles Lake Golf Club Emily, Megan, Jamie and Oliver had the chance to compete against all the other regions across England and Wales to be crowned national champions. The team played a foursomes format in the morning on the 18-hole Par 3 course followed by an individual competition in the afternoon.
The team managed a fantastic third place finish overall winning a bronze medal which is a great achievement! It’s been a really successful golfing year for CLCC and long may it continue!
