Welcome to HIVE Sixth Form at Countesthorpe Academy. You are most welcome to our learning community, we can’t wait to greet you in person. To help you to prepare for the challenge of Sixth Form, we have developed a transition package to prepare you for the rigorous and independent nature of Sixth Form studies. Whether you are in Countesthorpe Academy Year 11 or you are from other local key stage 4 schools, you can look at these activities to help you make subject choices and get a flavour of the activities that you would be asked to complete to prepare for A Level studies.

If you haven’t already applied to Sixth Form and now would like to make an application you can do via PS16 or by visiting our website and clicking Curriculum – Sixth Form.

The Transition Work programme is available for you to review and prepare for Sixth Form studies. Most students will complete these after their GCSE studies have been completed in the Summer.
