🟥 Give Racism the Red Card Day – Friday 17th October 🟥
Join us in standing up against racism by adding a red accessory alongside your school uniform this Friday, or swapping one item of your school uniform for something red (like your school jumper).
Let’s show unity, respect and the power of education in tackling discrimination.
Be part of our day of action. Wear Red. ✊🏽❤️

We can’t wait to see all our students back at our amazing academy!

Students should return to school on the following dates:

  • Tuesday 26th August 2025 – Years 7, 11 and 13 only return to school
  • Wednesday 27th August 2025 – Return for all year groups (except Year 12)
  • Monday 1st September 2025 – All year groups including Year 12

For Years 7 – 11, please ensure that you are school ready; have the correct uniform, equipment, have charged your iPad/Chromebook (and performed any updates). Guidance about uniform and equipment can be found at https://www.clcc.college/uniform-information/

Please make sure students are through the school gates by 8:40am at the latest – this allows our classes to start promptly and without disruption for 8:45am.

We hope that our students are excited to return to school; we’ve been busy working throughout the summer to enhance our facilities, and our teachers have been busy preparing lots of amazing and engaging lessons. This year is set to be our biggest and most exciting yet!

And finally, a special welcome to all our new Year 7 students! Tuesday will be the first step on your journey in secondary school. While it may be daunting, we have every confidence that you will grow your friendship group, learn amazing new things in subjects you’ve never experienced before, and ultimately be the best that you can be.
