Every Friday, Countesthorpe Academy takes a moment to recognise students who go above and beyond. Today, Mrs Hunt shared a milkshake and great conversation with this week’s nominees — students who’ve shown outstanding Respect, Resilience, and Success.
It’s a small gesture with a big message: we see you, we appreciate you, and we’re proud of you. 💙💛

Countesthorpe Academy is proud to celebrate the achievements of our 6 Chemistry students who participated in the first round of the 57th International Chemistry Olympiad.
These students faced a challenging two-hour paper, applying their A-level Chemistry knowledge to unfamiliar contexts.
Since September, they have been preparing diligently, attending a weekly lunchtime club to enhance their skills. Their dedication has led to impressive results: one bronze, three silver (top third of entrants), and one gold certificate (top 8%). 🏅
The accomplishments reflect the students’ hard work, intellectual curiosity, and passion for Chemistry. We extend our heartfelt congratulations to all participants for their exceptional performance and for representing Countesthorpe Academy with distinction.
Well done to all our students! 🌟👏

This week’s Hot Choc Friday was all about courage, creativity, and community spirit! 🌟

A special shoutout to those who took part in a powerful Listening Campaign with Liz Kendall MP (Leicester West) 🗣️—your voices matter, and your leadership is shaping the future. 🙌
Whether you were nominated for your hard work, your bravery, or your commitment to making a difference, today we raised our mugs to you. You are what makes Countesthorpe Academy shine! ✨
Keep being bold. Keep being brilliant. Keep being YOU. 💫
