Countesthorpe Academy Celebrates Excellent GCSE Results

Countesthorpe Academy is celebrating the success of its students today as they receive an excellent set of GCSE results.

Students across the Academy have achieved fantastic outcomes, with many surpassing their personal targets and excelling across a wide range of subjects. This year’s results reflect the determination of young people, the support of their families, and the commitment of staff who have worked tirelessly to provide the highest quality teaching and encouragement.

From top grades to incredible personal achievements, students across the Academy have proven that hard work, resilience, and community spirit truly pay off.

We are so proud of our students, and these results reflect all their hard work and commitment. We’re delighted that so many have chosen to stay on in our Sixth Form too with applications still being accepted. Their results are a reflection of their perseverance, ambition, and ability to overcome challenges. We are delighted to see so many of them progressing confidently onto the next stage of their education and training. These successes are a testament not only to the hard work of our students but also to the dedication of our teachers, support staff, and the encouragement of families."

Among the highlights of this year’s results:

⭐️ A significant number of students achieved top grades (7-9) across multiple subjects.
⭐️ Excellent progress was made across core subjects including English, Mathematics, and Science.
⭐️ Students achieved particular success in creative and vocational subjects, demonstrating the breadth of talent at the Academy.

"Our community should feel very proud," added Executive Headteacher Gareth Williams. "These results show that Countesthorpe Academy continues to be a place where students can thrive, achieve, and look forward to bright futures. Many of them will continue their learning at Countesthorpe, where they will be joined by students from other schools across the County. We look forward to welcoming them all.”
