📅Last week, Marissa from Creative Learning Services visited the college to deliver captivating book talks to Year 8 students. Each class was presented with a curated selection of ten books, featuring a diverse range of fiction, non-fiction, and short stories.
📚Marissa read several engaging extracts from the books, capturing the students’ attention and igniting their enthusiasm for reading. Following the talks, students were given the opportunity to borrow the books, which will remain available in the library until March 2025.
📖The event was a fantastic way to encourage a love of reading and expose students to a variety of literature, leaving them excited to explore the stories further.
