Our partnership means a lot to us and therefore it is with pleasure that we invite you to attend the Year 9 Parents’ Evening, during which time you will have the opportunity to discuss the progress made by your child. You are already aware that we regularly update you via the My Ed app in terms of attendance, merits, behaviour and progress data. This evening is an opportunity for you to meet subject teachers who will inform you about the progress your child is making and offer advice to promote further success.
We would urge you to attend the evening if at all possible. It is also useful for your child to attend with you.
We will be moving to a new online booking system that will replace our current paper system. This will ensure that parents themselves can select which teachers they wish to see and at what time.
How does it work?
We will send out a link via SMS/Text Message and MyED App messages on Tuesday 21st January 2020 at 7pm. In this message will be a personalised secure link that will take you to your child’s booking page. On this page you will be able to view all of your child’s teachers and their free appointment slots - simply tap/click on the slots you wish to meet your child’s teacher and that’s it!
For parents who have installed the MyED app you will also be able to access the booking system through a new button called Parents’ Evenings.

Please note that all online bookings must be completed by Sunday 26th January 2020 at 10pm.
On arrival please sign in for our records.
Due to time limitations we are only able to offer one 5-minute appointment per child per teacher.
