Dear Parent/Carer,
Year 11 Parents' Evening - Thursday 13 December 2018 – 4.00-6.30pm
Our partnership means a lot to us and therefore it is with pleasure that we invite you to attend the Year 11 Parents’ Evening, during which time you will have the opportunity to discuss the progress made by your child. You are already aware that we regularly update you via the My Ed app in terms of attendance, merits, behaviour and progress data. This evening is an opportunity for you to meet subject teachers who will inform you about the progress your child is making and offer advice to promote further success.
During Parents’ Evening we will be handing out the results of the Year 11 mock examinations which will give you the opportunity to discuss strengths and areas of development that have emerged. Results for those parents not attending will be available on the My Ed app the following day (Friday 14 December).
We would urge you to attend the evening if at all possible. It is also useful for your child to attend with you.
Your child will be given an appointment card to complete in agreement with individual subject teachers. Please indicate those teachers you wish to see by placing a tick in the ‘appointment requested’ box and your child will secure a time for you.
On arrival please sign in for our records.
Due to time limitations we are only able to offer one 5-minute appointment per child per teacher.
