Reading Marathon πŸ“•πŸƒβ€β™‚οΈ

12EPR win the Sixth Form Reading Marathon!

Sixth Form students were set a challenge to read 26 books and read a marathon.Β  12EPR were the first form group to complete the challenge who were awarded a box of chocolates this morning.

Reading is a great way of improving your vocabulary and evidence suggests that people who read more perform better in assessments.

Reading is a wonderful activity and a great way to relax after a hard day at college and we hope that our Sixth Form are enjoying the challenge!

Thanks to Mrs Preneta and 12EPR for taking part so enthusiastically!

Another challenge was for the most interesting selfie or picture of students reading.Β  First entry was from the Dance Class, however, Matt Cox eventually won with his extreme reading in Whetstone!Β  Dan Faulkner won the β€œNumber of Books read” with 5 full novels!

Keep on reading Sixth Form!
