Dear Parents,
At CLCC we are committed to ensuring all our students are in the ‘right place’ at the ‘right time’ doing the ‘right thing’ and I would ask for your support in encouraging your child to do this.
Being on time is the key to a good start to every lesson. Unfortunately, over the last few weeks, we have noticed that students are slower than we would like getting to lessons which means there are delays to the start of the lesson and students are missing out on learning time.
Students have had assemblies where we have stressed the importance of being on time. In particular, there can be no excuse as to why students are late to lessons after break or late to lessons after lunch as there has been enough time to ensure they are in the right place.
From Monday 3rd December 2018, students who make a deliberate choice to arrive at lessons late will be issued with a consequence in the form of a college detention.
All students are aware of this and the importance of being on time to lessons.
