During the next two weeks, your son/daughter will be bringing home information about Key Stage 4 subjects that they will study and Option Choices for next year.In order to assist you in making your subject choices, we will be holding an Options Evening at Countesthorpe Leysland Community College on Thursday 26th January 2017 from 6.00pm to 8.00pm.
The main purpose of the evening is for you to ask questions and to obtain information about individual subjects. To assist you, there will be a representative available from each of the option subjects, as well as the core subjects, to answer any questions that you may have. This is designed to be a drop in session and no formal presentations have been arranged.
There will also be a help desk where senior staff will be pleased to answer any general queries parents may have about completing the form. Students who attend other schools are welcome to come along on the evening to find out more about our curriculum and option choices.
In order to avoid congestion, we would ask that students in 9KHY, 9PBU, 9NWI and 9AWA attend from 6.00pm to 7.00pm and students in 9RSA, 9STK, 9ATE and 9IMA from 7.00pm to 8.00pm. If the allocated time is not suitable because of other commitments, then feel free to come to the other session but please do try to attend where possible during the times specified.
