Dear Parents and Carers,
We have had an excellent start to our opening of lessons using pre-recorded powerpoint and Microsoft Teams live lessons.
We have had fantastic engagement from our pupils, with them now having the opportunity to receive different styles of home learning lessons. This has been a great way for our staff to continue to support your child.
Please follow this link (Live lesson timetable 22nd June onwards) the latest live lesson timetables for Year 10 and 12. Please remember that the sessions may take the format of a pre-recorded PowerPoint shared on Satchel:One or a Microsoft Teams live session which may involve:
- Pupils and teachers interacting using a ‘chat’ feature
- Teachers presenting a powerpoint whilst talking through the presentation, explaining the learning and activities for pupils to complete
- Pupils being asked to use their microphones to ask and answer questions
Each type will help your child in progressing with their learning and we ask for your support in encouraging them to continue taking part in as many as they can.
