One of our Sixth Form Students recently took part in 'Cake International 2018' at the NEC Birmingham.
Kellie Le-Hair, a keen baker, has always wanted to take part in a national baking competition and this year's competition was the perfect opportunity to showcase her talents.
Entering for the first time in the beginners category, Kellie was cautiously optimistic about her chances; she really just wanted some experience of competitive baking.
However, Kellie did more than just take part. Kellie scored a massive 69/100, earning her a Merit award!
We are really proud of Kellie's achievement and wish her every success for future competitive baking competitions; and we wouldn't mind sampling a slice of cake either!
