Last week we said goodbye to our Year 13 students.
In a ‘family’ event, the Year 13 students celebrated their time at Countesthorpe Leysland Community College with their tutors and teachers.
During the afternoon staff and students came together to share their memories, wishes for the future, and to play a friendly game of rounders!
We are so proud of our Year 13 students. For all their hard work, not just in the last two years, but in their whole educational career to date. We are also proud of their personal achievements; from sporting successes, to musical triumphs, to baking awards, our Year 13 have shown everyone how to Be the best they can be.
We know that they have some tough challenges ahead; in the short term with their exams, and in the longer term with University and careers, but we are confident that each and everyone has the skills, determination, and resilience to show the world how great they are.
So farewell to our Year 13. Keep in touch. It’s been epic!
