A Countesthorpe Leysland Community College student has recently won an award at the Blaby District Local Sports Alliance Sports Awards 2018.
Fynn Kyser in Year 10, was Runner Up in the Sports Person of the Year with a disability category.
Fynn, a passionate bowls players who has been bowling for five years, plays for his local team, a County team and even with the England team!
Fynn didn’t expect to win an award at this year’s event, and was really pleased when his name was announced. “I felt so excited! I’ve never won an award like this before!”.
We are really proud of Fynn’s achievement and wish him well for the future. Maybe we have a future Olympian in the making!
