We are proud that we have students with “a mind to be kind”, so it really makes us pleased when they ask to help one of their peers.
Students at Countesthorpe Academy have unanimously decided to support Josh Laird in his ambition to visit Disney World in Florida.
Josh, as many of you will have seen in the local press, is battling cancer for a second time and has a desire to visit Disney World as soon as he is able to.
In honour of his battle, our students are raising money to support his trip by cycling to Florida themselves - albeit on exercise bikes in our gym!
Cycling over 4,000 miles in four days, our students have set themselves a lofty target and hope that you will support their efforts by making a donation to this fantastic cause. Students will take on this mammoth challenge during their PE lessons, break and lunch times starting Monday 29th November.
