Dance Show – 6th Form Leavers

Thursday 8th June was a special day. No, not because of the General Election, but because it was the CLCC Sixth Form leavers dance showcase!
Our year 12 and 13 dancers absolutely smashed it, demonstrating their technique in such varied dance styles, with such dynamism and grace. Their energy, enthusiasm and commitment led them to really 'wow' our wonderful audience during their performances.

They showcased their solo contemporary choreographies as well as telling 'Mamma Mia' through dance alone.

It also sadly meant that we had to say goodbye to our super 6 year 13 cohort.

We are extremely gutted to be losing them but so proud of what they have achieved during their time at CLCC. Mrs Hunt and I are sad to see them go, but truly wish them all every success in whatever they choose to do in their future. Hoping we see their faces again very soon. We also say goodby to Lucy Kind who will be following her performing arts dream in Liverpool from September- well done!!

Finally we wish Hayden Woodcock (one of our super 6!) every success in his National Final in July, representing both the college and East Midlands in the National Great Big Dance Off in Northampton, as well as his dazzling future ahead at Bird College of Performing Arts in London.

We are so proud.

Mrs Myles and Mrs Hunt.
