Countesthorpe Academy is proud to celebrate the achievements of our 6 Chemistry students who participated in the first round of the 57th International Chemistry Olympiad.
These students faced a challenging two-hour paper, applying their A-level Chemistry knowledge to unfamiliar contexts.
Since September, they have been preparing diligently, attending a weekly lunchtime club to enhance their skills. Their dedication has led to impressive results: one bronze, three silver (top third of entrants), and one gold certificate (top 8%). 🏅
The accomplishments reflect the students' hard work, intellectual curiosity, and passion for Chemistry. We extend our heartfelt congratulations to all participants for their exceptional performance and for representing Countesthorpe Academy with distinction.
