We were very excited to have Librarians, Alex McGowan and Nicole Jordan, from Creative Learning Services at County Hall into the College to give book talks to the Year 7s.
They brought along a large selection of books that could be borrowed after the talks. The Year 7s really enjoyed the talks and were very keen to read some of the books. Some of the favourites were how to Speak Spook, a very spooky tale, and Desirable, about a teenager who found some old aftershave and suddenly became very popular with all females, a funny read.
