Learning in our local community
Year 10 Business Students have been conducting their own market research at Fosse Park Shopping Centre. Our students have interviewed the Marketing Staff as well as the Manager of the centre.
The Centre Manager commented that they were really impressed with some of the students’ in-depth questioning. The questions ranged from how many people visit fosse park, to some focussed discussions about Fosse Parks core customer base.
We then conducted some market research observations outside some of the larger stores and counted the numbers of different age groups and genders.
Students have returned from the visit with a much greater understanding of how a Shopping Centre works and how market research is used in business to make decisions. Well done year 10 and thank you Fosse Park Shopping Centre!
